The following is a summary announcement from the Naches Ranger District with regards to the proposed revovation to the Wild Rose Day Use site, located on Highway U.S. 12 (T.14N. R.14E - Section 26). This project will encompass roughly three acres on the Tieton Basin, approximately five miles NE of Rimroack Lake (close to Willow Campgrounds). The revovation will consist of building a two pad RV dump station; installing one double and one single vault accessible toilets; drill a new well along with other amenities. Funding for planning and implementation is available through a Federal Highway grant. I encourage letters of support for this project. The District is asking for input; concerns, ideas and comments that will be taken into consideration during the decision process. Letters need to be submitted by April 15th to Randall Shepard, Naches District Ranger, 10237 U.S. Highway 12 Naches WA. 98937
