OK I know I will probably get flamed for this but just curious as to why you were climbing the bank that seperates the hard route (fun)from the main trail.

There is nothing after that last corner but flat. It looked like one last little off camber turn and line to try. There were tracks through it so I took it. Sorry, it won't happen again mister poopy pants:finger:

I do agree with jim, its not good to do, and I am sure they will pass next time. It is hard to determine sometimes when we are on the trail. That has been a line people have ran for a couple years, and If memory serves me the right shoot was bootleg, then adopted about 8years ago. Correct me if I am wrong. It doesnt do any good to try and flame them on here and quoting the bible? come on.If I loved Satan I wouldnt push him on you!? I was just hoping you guys have more pics of the rest of the trail.

Now see you stated the facts before I could! Once there are a set of tracks then someone else will follow and so on and so on the next thing you know we have a spiderweb of trails and to coin the forest services new favorite saying "we have resource damage" and that gives them all they need to close it down. look at what happened with the TA trail. (much worse but same game). what concerns me is the damage to the root systems of the trees between the trails once damaged the trees may come down(or when someone winches on them) and again we have resource damage. We all have to watch what were doing out there or we all stand to loose. Lets try and stay on the trail. thanks Jim

The right leg is the original trail the one to the left was made as a bypass when the right one got to hard:rolleyes: (fun) funny thing is in the snow I think the right is easier. At least if you cant make it up its a straight winch shot. The left will throw you back down the hill and into the woods:(

Damaged root at Evans creek, Humm not trying to be a ass here but I'm pretty sure chainsawing the roots out of of the trail don't help much either :banghead: . And for some history folks have been hopping between those two legs of the trail for close to 15 years now. I've got pictures to prove it too.

lurk mode on..
