Ive done it every day since saturday, it gets bad half way up i think the best line is the outside lane. 410 hill Climb that is :)
hehe Today is the first day I've been passing everyone else on the highway - it was kind of a fun ride to work this morning. Watch out out for all the other bone heads though

I tried the Bremerton/Seattle (HWY16/I5) trail first thing.
Got to Gorst, realized it was going to be a 2 hour commute, then I heard about the breakage at the I5/Tacoma Dome area, Narrows wasn't screwed up at the time. So I about faced, and took the Ferry trail/Western/99/Marginal Way trail. 2WD everywhere except for getting in/out of that ditch.

Travis, fess up now, you needed to lock in to get out of the ferry....
Got to drive my own for a change, Kinda nice to be able to yell fool, and flip people off!:finger:
The I-90 trail was fun today but the Cederfalls trail was the highlite of the day.
Yeah, Cedar Falls was nice and fresh when I came through...no hardpack, and no ice...but about 2 inches of the white stuff. :D

Gotta love urban 'wheelin! Problem is all the newbies out there. I drove around most of the day in 2wd in my Jeep. At every stop someone in a front wheel drive Honda or Toyota would gun the gas and spin. In rear wheel drive only I just drove on, nice-n-easy. Hadta laf!
BTW, picked my wife up to check out the scenery and hilly roads near our house and headed down to Carkeek park. Some guy in a street racer Prelude is stuck in the park-there is a steep hill down to the park. (My wife gets mad when I call them ricers 'cause she says it's derogatory.) So she see's this guy trying to get up the hill and asks me...so, you gonna help that ricer get up the hill! I about laughed my ass off. By the time I got around the park, some dude with chains was draggin his sorry ass up the hill. Stupid dude with Z rated tires-no idea what he was thinking going down that hill.

Well, I ran the hwy 9 trail home tonight to avoid the 25 care pile up on 405. Some dude got all twisted up down in Woodinville on the ice and ended up in the ditch. I slowed down cause there were actually two cars in the ditch cause of the ice and the off camber road. As soon as I slowed down, I too slid sideways slowly into the ditch! Lol, course I was the only one that could throw the Atlas into 4 lo and put the Detroits to work and climb right out of the ditch!

I got to run the hwy 18/ I90/ summit central exit trail today and from just outside of north bend to the base of the summit was sustained 35mph winds with blowing snow going everywhere. It was kinda kewl. cold as hell on the slopes though.

I think thats the funnest part.... you too slide in to a ditch, the car drivers giving you that look like, see what 4WD got you? How pointless 4WD is.
Then ya lock in and drive out. LOL
I got that look once so far, that was probably the funnest part.
I took the alley trail home Tuesday evening... 7th and 9th street trails were riddled with parked cars, glazed ice and sledders. I *almost* had to pull cable to get up that thing. (steep hill)
