I think that Tom would accept written letters from individuals as well as "organized" groups....please write, those of you who want to see more DNR 'manpower" on the ground at the places we 4wheel this is a way to get that!

I am putting the finishing touches on the written grant proposal for an IAC
funded E&E officer for northwest region. I have received written (email) support
from Puget Sound Trialers, Northern Toys, and Northwest Quad Asso.

One of the 6 judged criteria for the grant is "Project Support. The extent to
which the public (statewide, community, and/or user groups)" support the
project. I plan to list organizations IF I have written support. If you would
like, please send, ASAP, written organizational support for this proposal.

Thanks.

Tom.

this was more of a reminder, the original post here included this info....

I have to do a presentation before IAC for our E&E grant on Thursday, November 6th. I'd like to include a slide listing clubs that support the grant. I won't include your club without word from you that this is okay. Please get back to me immediately with an email stating your club's support if, in fact, you support
this grant proposal.

Again, we are applying for a one year grant to fund a law enforcement position similar to Kevin Alberg's (supervised by Kevin) that will focus on Walker Valley, North Fork, and Reiter. They will spend 100% of the grant funding on ORV. I state this because I want to make it clear that, while they may get
pulled off to assist in other issues, the ORV fund will not be charged for this time. This time will be compensated by other E&E officers providing emphasis patrols, etc. If this is not clear, give me a call and I'll try to explain it
better.

Anyway, let me know if you are in support.

Thanks.

Tom.
