Im looking for a flush mount double illuminated switch. What I mean buy this is the switch has to illuminate when I turn on my lights and then illuminate a different color when it’s switched. I know this has to be some type of automotive switch but I just don’t know the name of it, so im kind of lost looking on the web for one.

its not just a dpdt...he needs the switch to be lite one color for off (like a dash lite) and another color when it is on. i personally have never seen one of these...

ok, the way i had read it i had assumed diferent colors for each position.
the only pace i have seen a switch as described that is still iluminated when off is the ones that com in the kits with the piaa double lights .
the other thing you can do is get creative with the wireing, if you wire it with the light going to the wrong toab on the switch, you could get one of the dpdt switces to light up both indicators when off, then when fliped one way or the other, the oposite light turns off.... i used to do that for a bunch of diferent purposes..

try calling C&G electric in Tacoma. they have all kinds of switches .
Its not just a DPDT.... I was just at radio snatch last night and they do have ones that illuminate red when off and yellow when on. Or you could actually do some work and wire up your own LEDs like I did :redneck:

Check with ARB. I know my switches glow when I turn on the headlights and change when I energize.
