I am planning on lifting my XJ another 2 inches which would take it up to arond 7.5"-8"'s toal and was ooking into long arm kits for the front today. Nearly all I could find were basiclly homemade, so I was wondering if anyone on here had made one and would be willing to help a oung buck creat his own.

Never actually done it my self, but it really doesn't look too hard. If you have adj arms, just cut em, and extend em. There's more to it, but i'm drunk.
I've done mine on my ZJ - which has the same front suspension as your XJ. If you'd like to take a look-see, just let me know.

It would be a great help to see what you did.

I have a triangulated 3 link - but the x-member and the lowers are very similar to what you would build for a radius arm set up...

PS - Just run straight links - no funky bends - these are starting to bow inwards and will be replaced soon...

Looks good Matt, got any more closeups of the upper link? How's the bump-steer?

jeepmauler has been trying to sell the bits & pieces from his Cherokee for a month now, PM him, I'm sure he still has the suspension arms.

Hi-jack:
No bump steer since the drag link is 100% flat but you do loose a little right turn at full articulation... Not for long though - draglink is going good bye (full hydro) I also had problems with too short of a pitman arm and no room between the drag link/tierod/axle - moving the steering box foward did not seem easy - so orbital it is!
