Well are we still on? I saw the post earlier about some dozer work up there. Will this affect our run? Did we lose some good trails? Boy, I hope not I want to give my 31's a work out.:redneck: That's ok we'll bring our wenches, no I mean winches! So as far I know for SURE there will be 4 rigs from down here. I don't believe wheelinjp will be making the trip but we hope so.

So the last plans I saw was, meeting in Monroe at a gas station at 9? Is 8 too early? that would give us more wheelin time.

So let's get some what of a final count and confirmed meeting place and time. The earlier the better.

Even the powerline area isn't totally obliterated.

Well we've been looking at the posts on here, Who will meet us "newbies" and where? Our plan is too head up 405 to 522 then east on 2. Is this correct? Is there somewhere in Monroe where you can have a nice sit down breakfast? The size of our party is quickly shrinking. We're down to 3 Bobby, Moparman(Jay) and myself. Oops and Wheelinjp but haven't heard from him this week CALLING WHEELINJP!! pm me let me know TT

Your directions are right. As you go thru town there are a few places to eat. The buzz in is pretty good. Denny's is also there but they always so packed. Ken said the Bakery in Sultan is really good. Anyways Ken will be in the Safeway parking lot with his red XJ on a trailor & a Dodge 1 ton. If anything changes we'll keep you posted. If you need anything just pm me or GPN Family.

Is there a story here for those of us that pussed out and didn't wheel today? :hmmm:

It was a pretty large crowd. We all headed for Sack Up which took all of us about 2+ hours to get through.

After that it was up to the wall trail, which had a little snow on it, definately makes it a little more slick and challenging.

I don't think there was any carnage to speak of though I left a little early.....didn't feel like wheelin the logging roads :redneck:

I must say that it was very different to actually leave the parking area on time rather than stand around for an hour & BS.

I had fun

He broke 200 yards from the parking lot. Not sure if the front axle is toast or if it has something to do with the steering. I'll let him tell the story when he gets back!:D

Here was the only carnage :redneck: as a result of me trying to hi-side a full size pick up in the garvel pit on the way up to the Wall Trail.

My door bar totally creased this dudes truck  It was completely my fault for being a dumb ass.

He was pretty  about it though

First of all, I would like to say that "we" had a blast. It was great to get the chance to watch all that was in the group, wheel thier rigs. Further more, I'm happy to say that I saw ACTUAL "unity" as a group, helping others that needed it and Crash for waitng for the rest of us to make it through (with "our" pathetic POS  ...heehee) and Brad, for hanging back at the end of the line, making sure everyone made it out alive on the Sack-Up trail. And for those that helped us out when we were in a "pinch" (lacking for better words) at the end of the day coming back down, :redneck: ....Thank you to ALL that was there!
We had a blast! (a very nice learning experience) :)

I have some more pics to add to Brads shortly (I have to edit a few and compress them down to upload:) )...Most of them I won't posts for obvious reasons but if you were in our group and would like a copy of them (have both still pics and mpegs), shoot me a PM and I'll be happy to share them with ya! ;)

Also the coldest air of the day - I'll never forget Travis crowding around his engine trying to thaw his fingers - those buggies don't have very good heaters :D Nice view from the old lookout point, too, at least as good as the wall.

EDIT: Sometime toward the end of the day Mary says (and I should point out here, I did in no way prompt this), "WE NEED 35's." Is it supposed to be that easy?
