Good evening,
Sorry to do this, but I am cancelling the Walker Valley work party for tomorrow, Sunday Noveber 16.
The National Weather Service has issued a weather advisory for portions of Western Washington including Skagit County. The advisory says to expect sustained high winds reaching 40 mph.
Our work area is in a windthrow prone area with potential for falling trees in high wind.
In addition, the DNR trailer has sucummed to electrical problems and I can't transport our equipment untill repairs are made.
Please pass the word. This is short notice and I cannont contact everyone.
Thank you to all of you that turned out for the work party today! We had over 20 people show up and put in a good day's work. Sorry I couldn't be there to work with you.
