Was thinkin of headin up to jacks pass this weekend or next does anyone know how much snow there is if any?

Looks as though there should be new snow up there today. There was around a foot last week.

Where's Jacks Pass I have never heard of it:confused: Map or directions please. Also how difficult is the trail?

Hwy 2 towards Steven's Pass, first left after Skykomish, just before the bridge. If you go over the bridge you've gone to far, and can turn around at the Ranger Station. After you turn on the road there's parking on the left to leave tow vehicles if necessary.

Jack's Pass is mainly a logging road up to the pass, there's some trails but they don't go anywhere's that I'm aware of. Just follow the main road to the top, or as far as you can go. Great Noble Fir X'mas trees if your looking for them.

:eek: First snow run this year,,, found a few feet and went up the road until I couldn't break trail anymore. Stuff was pretty wet, and slick. Easy to just sit and spin anywhere. Well now breakdowns or damage, but a nice trip.

Was up there hunting today(special permit) and at 4o'clock there was about 4in.

Where we were there was more then 4 inchs if u steped out out thhe Jeep out if the ruts u sunk up to ur knee
