Perhaps I've missed something important, but what the HELL are they doing to reiter?? The whole upper power line area has been graded flat, including the old V-notch area!!?? What are they doing this for? IS reiter going to be logged? And will it be shut down?? They ran the road right through the middle of the big sandy hill climb in the upper power line area. When I was up there a few weeks ago, we had to contend wih a bulldozer who was making this road. Not to mention that they've chopped down a ton of foilage, and built a road on our trails. Whats goin on here??????
(Side note, i realize its state property and they can do what they want with it, so spare me comments about me saying "our trails")

I'm not sure which road/trails you are speaking of but...
...every so many years the power company, or whoever owns and maintains the power lines at the Reiter Trails area comes through and grades the road so that they can get their service vehicles into the area. I've seen it happen quite a few times over the years.
