Re-drilling axles? [Archive]

Does anybody local re-drill axle flanges? I've got a waggy D44 I want to see about changing to a 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern.

What is local? I can redrill rear axle flanges if that's what you're talking about. I changed mine from 5 to 6 lug.

Toppenish might be local enough, I'm heading over that way for thanksgiving..............

Every time I get brake rotors I have to redrill them from 5x5 to 5x4.5.

I used CAD to create a template for both, lay it down over the existing studs, center punch the new pattern and drill away. Of course, a drill press helps :D
