**Krawler being left out because there's no 40" **
I'm considering going 40" + 17" beadlocks... Who's got the goods on the modern offroad radials?
Mud/snow/rock wheeling, what's gonna do me best?

Have you ever seen MTR's in the mud and wet snow? They don't clean out at all. MTR's are good on rock. I'm going with IROK's cause they look like they will clean out in the mud and snow. The 40" Irok is only 19/32" tread depth, but the 49" is 28/32"

Ask XJMJ...he's the only one on the board with IROK's.
I don't think you can go wrong either way. I ran some 35" MTR's when they first came out and I liked'em.

No 40" Krawlers that mere mortals can get anyway............
I still think TSL's are the best all around tires for the use you describe.ie.The northwest yearround.

Take a look at Interco's website (http://www.intercotire.com). They list a 39.5x15.0-17 TSL that's "coming soon." Might want to give them a call and ask how soon it'll be available. ;)

Why, what's wrong with the IROK's?

hey,
i have 39.5 IROKs on a 15x10 beadlock, and i think they stomp my mtrs all the way around. waaaaaay too soft for daily driving, but they clean well in mud, grip like glue ion rocks, and they are way stable at any psi from 1-8 lbs. as far as snow, i'll have to see, but so far i love them.

Phat 40's got the IROK's as well and I go out with him quite a bit. Seen them clean like hell and stick extremely well too. But as others have said they are very soft. Wouldn't recommend for a DD.
