Swapping to 5x4.5" up front wouldn't be the best, I'm not sure if it's even possible w/ a "real" D44. You'd be better off either converting both the front and the rear to 5x5.5", or converting the rear to 6x5.5" to match the front Waggy. S&N will of course be able to handle all of that for ya. ;)

There is a guy on here who is in the process of doing a sas on his ranger. His name is y2k1edge, he could help ya out. If i were you i wouldnt waste that much cash on a ranger, (let alone any ford) :D buy a older yota and start buildin that, then you wont worry about body damage.:redneck: :D

If you wanted to switch the front to 5x4.5 on a budget, you could use the outer knuckles, brakes, hubs and stub shafts from a 70's Dodge with full time 4WD. You wouldn't have hub disconnects but it would be a cheap way to do it that would still be fairly strong. Then later on if you wanted to change the rear to something else, you could just swap the front outers to match whatever pattern the rear ends up being. I'm sure if you look around a little, you could find that Dodge setup for next to nothing. There really isn't a big demand for them.
You would be wise to beg Crash to finish it.
