I need a flat top knuckle milled and tapped. Any suggestions around the greater Seattle area. And, S & N isn't open this week, I called.

Thanks,

Daniel

I know that much of the wisdom out there says you should mill, drill and tap the knuckle for studs, but when I was looking for a shop to do it I was told by Jason at S & N not to waste my money. He said they just drill holes all the way through and use grade 8 bolts with cone washers. According to Jason, they have done this numerous times without a failure and even if you did break a bolt it is a much easier fix. So, that is what I did and so far no problems...

Thanks. So maybe I just need someone with a drill press and a 9/16's bit. I'd want them to be level, so I don't want to do it w/ my drill... Anybody want to help? $$$ or  at your convenience...

For an off road rig maybe, but I wouldn't want something come loose on a highway rig!

I just cleaned up mine with a grinder and drilled and tapped them with a hand drill, used a small angle square to make sure they were straight. Been holding two years now with no problems.:)

Im scared to say the wrong thing. But i will say that i have done wierd junk on mills for awhile, And could mill a knuckle and drill or tap it. I would prefer not to have 200 guys wanting their knuckles done as my truck is kinda #1 right now, But it would be easier to do a batch of a half dozen at a time. I'll shut up now.
