There's a place called "the Dredge" in northern Idaho, I just read about it in this months tri-power. It says the area is about 40 miles northeast of moscow Idaho. It talks about some medium duty trails and some rocks in piles that were "dredged up" out of the Palouse river. I have never been there so I don't know what its like exactly.

There are some trails off of Sherman Pass near Republic. A couple take off near the top of the pass ~5000 ft. elevation.
