Got a tip from a good friend who saw a black SUV off the road in the ditch on his way into work this morning, called the local authorities, dispatch just called me back and it wasn't my rig. :sad:

Good news, vehicle was recovered, all that I can tell is missing is one foglight cover and the ipod I had in the center console. And possibly my craftsman toolkit, there's a possibility I moved it into my utility trailer, I'll check on that tonite. Apparently it was ditched in a parking garage (not sure how it fit w/as tall as it is, I'm driving to look at the place tomorrow) fri or sat, sat there for a few days before the property manager had it towed. The towing company called the cops, they looked it over, and called me to pick it up mid morning today. I went straight over there, all in tact. It appears to be a joy ride. It's currently in route to the repair shop, alignment is WAY off, won't shift into OD, running pretty rough and leaking power steering fluid BAD.

Tow gal said cops won't fingerprint it as there's no significant damage, minimal property loss. "Takes too long, they're too busy." While I'm not thrilled about that, I AM happy my baby's home...
