If anyone is looking we found a silver 4runner 22re 5sp truck almost stripped(probably by now) and shot up at the beaver ponds off 176 at sunrise in puyallup. it is still there along with many other burnt out carcasses of hondas yotas ect....we found it riding quads last week. also on Muck creek hill at the powerlines there were lots of cars and trucks. no complete yotas though. Looked more like tweakers dumping their no title projects.

About a year ago I came a cross a pile of stolen cars off of FS 7030 just off of I-90. I wrote down all the VIN's that I could scrape the junk off of, or locate after the theives torched the hulks.. I called and eMailed the Washington State Patrol with the VIN's and the GPS locations of the stolen vehicles and two things happened.

1) They removed the wrecks from the forest
2) They found the registered owners (where they could) and let them know that their cars had been "recovered" (though if I was an owner, I would not want it back...)

So - Where this is useful is that if you report that giant pile of abandoned/stolen cars to the State Patrol they will remove them, which will tip off the tweakers that there are folks watching and waiting for them to dump their piles, which may force them to stop.

Not sure - but it's always worth it to keep the trails clean so that there are fewer arguements to closing off Forest Service roads by the tree-huggers.

Here you go - Criminal Investigation Division:

Enjoy ;)

PS. DO Identify yourself for them, they WILL call your email you - they called me and after I explained that I was out for the day with my kids and along the way we decided to be good citizens and help them out with some stolen vehicle reports, they were very cordial.
