2001 acura type R in Wa.

A buddy had his type R stolen last night from his driveway.License #550-tsb . $1000 reward .was taken from the Spanaway area.

those are common on getting stolen. that little Type R tag in the back is asking for a beaner to come along and swipe it. if you get it back most likely the motor is missing. Good luck finding it.

wow thats not suprising that he left it out side and it got jacked. Any type r owner should now better then to leave there shit outside over night. when he gets it back its going to be strippped if it was done by someone good, which im sure it was because they were smart enough to know that you have to switch out computers before it will start. so when he gets it back it will be missing suspension, motor, seats,cluster and the jdm front clip.the only reason i know that is because im in to hondas myself and these are all the parts everyone wants off type r's. I will keep my eyes out for some parts for sale. good luck in getting it back.

All your gonna find is the shell, I work at a honda dealer and we do atleast 3 theft recoveries a week

Thanks for keepin an eye out for it.

It's been found, they only stripped the enterior and the aftermarket performance parts off the motor,other then that its intact. It was found less then 2 miles from his house in someones carport.

If that thing has got a real c5 in it that was not ripped off by the thieves, then they are probably the most worthless thieves ever.

I would of thought the C5 with the lsd tranny and the JDM front clip would be all that they would take. Glad to hear that he got it back.
