If you still have motor and it ran well when pulled I'll take it. What size rear drums, are they ok and will u separate from axle? Need 10 inchers.

Not sure will find out tonight
Sorry the muffler and tail pipe already gone
It's an Auto
And still have the motor its still in rig. Only cause I have never pulled one of these motors. And figure if you have then you know what you want. I will help pull wrenches to remove motor.

I might need to make a trip up there. I've already set up a meeting for next week to look at a D35 in 4.10, so I'll see how that goes first. It's from an '88 XJ with 10k miles on new ring/pinion and bearings, but I don't believe he's going to be interested in my 3.07 ratio axles in trade.

Hey I dont want the 3.07's either. but if you have spare metal that works for me. or anything just dont want anymore DANA 35's. I just got rid of one yesterday. I have another now but, you know the deal, first one with cash or cool trade gets the item.

Ferndale to Everett 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours depending on speed and traffic. the only problem now is that starting next week I will be unable help with taking the motor out for about a month. I love work :banghead: but you can still get it I will have a cherry picker for use.

Yeah, I figure my old axles won't fetch anything, and it'll be a few weeks before I swap 'em out and get a few miles on the replacements anyway.
Thanks for taking a look at the internals on that axle for me. I'd still be interested to know how the seals are, how much in/out play there is on the axle shafts, whether it uses non c-clip shafts, and whether it'll clean up pretty easy or if the backing plates have been totally consumed by rust.
I might be headed up to Bellingham soon, so I might be able to take a look myself. My friend wants to go this afternoon, but I might put it off a day or two.
Thanks, GM

C clip axle tubes are same diameter from the wheel to pumpkin. Non-clip axles have a bulge in the tube behind the backing plate (due to larger bearing)
