Very tempting, any idea where someone could pick up some h2 wheels for a decent price?

Jobless picked up 4 off of e-bay for 'round 60.00 each.Downside is the 100" of backspacing(actually 5 IIRC)

Just an FYI......the GM H2 wheel IS a REALLY NICE,WELL BUILT WHEEL!!

There is a ton of material where it counts and the runout (roundness) is a couple thou.On a 17" piece of cast aluminum, mass produced thats pretty fawking awsome.

I see them used a lot on off-road rigs so I figured they must be built fairly well. I would like to find some locally to cut down on shipping costs and all that. I am planning to buy 39.5 Iroks in the 16" rim variety, but 17's just might work.

Maulers pretty close...ebay $260 (including shipping) for a brand new set, 5.5" of backspacing.

Go 17"...I started with 16" rims and it really limits your tire choices in the 40" range.

McCann Cadillac/Hummer in Fife. Ask for accessories department. Tell them you're looking for take-off H2 wheels. You can buy the plain cast ones (not the chrome ones) without tires for $25 each last I checked because that's what the scrap guy gives them for them. I bought a full set of (5) CHROME H2 wheels and brand new BFG A/t's for $750.
