this is a 1964 jeep J-200, im selling because it is not a practicle DD super low gears (i beleive they're 4.88's)and only a 3 speed. odometer says about 34000 but it may have rolled over, it has a 230 tornado straight six, a 3 speed, dana 44's front (closed nuckle) and rear, custom bed, can sell with the tires i have for it which are 5 30x10.50x15 super swamper tsl radial on black daytona wheels or without (i have the stock wheels with older bfg at's with maybe 50% tread on them) overall a really neat rig and with a little or no work, would be a sweet sunday driver or maybe show truck
i am askin $2100 with the rims and tires
and $1500 without
the new
interior (celica seats no rips or tears like new, new carpet and painted dash)
stereo stereo is worth about $300(rockford fosgate 6x9 3 way speakers and a jvc head unit new was $130)
Custom Bed
paint
the needed
to have a new bellcrank bolt put in (the one thats in it is worn)
exhaust (needs to be replaced but works like it is just doesnt look pretty)
motor rebuild (not too serious just mainly needs to have new gaskets throughout)
front wheel bearings

Should be D20. Pretty rare to have D18 in them.

I'm allergic to green vehicles. (Last one I worked on was military green, and yes, I was in the military! Never could get them to run right, but any other color rig works fine!)

That's fixable! I would be tempted to put the Jeep EFI or GM TBI on that 6 and add an overdrive (There was a Saturn one that was factory available way back) My J4000 does fine for daily driving, but even it needs O/D (currently running 33" tires, 3.73 gears and a 17% O/D in the QT, but the TH400 is too tired to keep up)

yea theres a guy in town with a 68 and he has the buick v-8 350 (stock motor for that year) and a 4 spd. its the same truck as mine except its the 6 inch longer wheelbase. and with that combo it'll run 70 down the highway no problem.

id keep the carb on it just so it still looks like an old truck, im not too much of a fan of the efi systems on trucks that dont need em, old show trucks mainly. but when it comes to wheelin efi is the 1st choice, i hate not havin it too.
