Are they actual American Racing Outlaws? or an off brand? Can you post a picture? Mostly interested in the wheels, but if the tires come with them, then that would be OK too.

Which High-Tec tread pattern are they?

I'm more interested in the tires. Coincidentally I'm also making a trip to eastern WA on Thursday next week!

So, if you want the wheels OldGreen, maybe we can make a 3-way deal where I get the tires, and I'll deliver the wheels to you.

i dont care if you guys want to divy up the tires and wheels, as long as i get 225 im happy.

i think these came stock because ive seen them on a ranger before, but maybe they are actually the american racing ones... the picture of just the one rim below is the actual american racing one.. so I guess they are???

heres how they look like as of now.. they are sittingin my shed waiting to see some trail

Sorry. . .updated my profile and PM'd you back.

Can you check the back of the rims and see if American Racing is stamped in them someplace. . normally it wouldn't be an issue, but in this case they have to be AR wheels.

Sounds like OldGreen and I have it all worked out a1leyez0nm3.

Now, you and I just have to work out how to get together for me to get them from you. You're in Lake Stevens, I'm in Kent, but work in Seattle. How far south do you come so we can meet up?

That might just work.

BTW, you know me as CheaperJeeper from PNWJ, Bass2323 - and you never did get back to me about whether your dad remembers the mileage on your old XJ when you did the guage-cluster swap.....

OOPS! Sorry! I was emailing both of you about that motor at abut the same time and I got you guys confused.

Anyway, If you and Chris can hook up with getting the wheels & tires to Seattle, I'd like to set it up for one day EARLY next week. Like maybe Monday after work - around 5:00 PM or something?

Yep. . .I'm buying a set of new ones too and thought I could use these as spares. I figure 6 to 8 tire/wheel combos will be about right.

Yeah, he's building a JeepSpeed rig. I will be watching his build-up closely :)

Figured that out when you chimed in with your comment.

Another guess; AR is a major sponsor of the JeepSpeed series and you have to use THEIR wheels - either to run or at least to get sponsorship...

How'm I doin' so far?

Perfect. I just bought the shell last week and I am done tearing out the interior. Next is prepping and primering the floor because of a little rust, then in goes the cage and so on. . .plan is to have it ready to test by October and racing by December. It is going to be an extremely angry 4 banger.
