300 miles or so on this head. It was purchased NEW from Suzuki by a guy I bought a rig from. I ran it for about 10 wheeling trips. So its never been on the highway. Has Weber carb. Also spare distributor.
300$ FIRM! Its bolt on with exhaust and all.

if they are tuned / jetted properly... they'll assist you in passing emissions.
it's the rest of the rig... that will most likely kill off the passing grade.

cat / muffler

top end / bottom end - of motor

if your samurai is in otherwise ggod running condition, should pass the test.
however, every county differs from others. on one note, if your sami came from the factory as a carbed model, the weber will pass the eye test.

on the otherhand, it might not pass, if it was a EFI model.

the weber should run smooth / lean to pass the sniffer test, the rest is up to your rings / valves and cat / muffler. and using the timing gun couldn't hurt either. you want it to burn clean. and when it rev's... you want it to not rev rich. i'am no expert, but i know if you hook everything up & time it properly & have a good cat, couldn't hurt to have 2 either... emission hoses working...

you should pass.

my 3cents.

Will play lets make a deal if its this weekend this s&%t's got to go!

It used to pass just fine. I have a calmini fuel air mix guage. Its dynamic
and works at idle and while driving. I had the carb jetted accordingly.
Really a no brainer with the 100$ guage. Helps when you go to different altitudes as well. Just a quick glance and a tur of a screw. Cats are a no brainer as well. 3 ways to go here.
1) High flow
2) Drill out the stock one and keep your mouth shut.
3) Put in anther flange, make it removable and replace with straight pipe
after emissions check.
