View Full Version : (4) stock H1 Hummer Rims w/rebar rings.
I have (4) stock, 8-bolt (bias style) H1 Hummer rims. As well as (4) rebar reinforcing rings I had formed up to weld onto the outer rim.
Rims are in "good" shape with O-rings and nuts, NO runflats.
I'll sell the rims and rings for $250, or strait trade for a set of PVC (or similar) inserts for H1 rims.
For another $50 I'll toss in a set of 38.5 x 14 x 16.5" SX's pretty much worn out, but good for tire fitment and/or rollers.
Not really interested in hassling with shipping, but might be persuaded with the right offer....
I'll get some pics up soon.

BLING! send me pics, if its what i want i have cash... have they been recentered? Can radials be used on 8 bolt rims?
I just took a pic this evening, but I haven't got a chance to download it off the digi yet. I'll post one tomorrow.
Uncut (not recentered, stock 7" back spacing). They are "meant" for bias tires. They have a "12 bolt" one that was meant for Radials, so I don't know if your can make a radial work with the 8 bolts style or not. If somoene on here doesn't know, I'm sure you could find the answer Pirate.
I'll post up some Pics tomorrow, let me know.

OK, day late. Sorry.
"Representory Picture" of one of them and a rebar rig. I have 8, but will be keeping 4, I just haven't separated them into keep/sell.
Let me know!

mark im curious whats the rebar for, i dont know alot about these rims but might be interested for my new tire/wheel combo i might be getting. so all i would need a set of runflats and i wouldnt worry about the tires poppin off the beads

Yep. buy two set of run flats and give me a set and I'll trade strait across for the rims :D
The rebar ring reinforces the outer lip of the rim. They are a little flimsy for hard rock work and get dented easy[ish]. I'm sure you could hammer them enought to leak, but allot of it is cometic as well (so I have seen/heard). The rebar gets trimed then welded in and greatly strengths this area. Couple folks also sell cut steel ones that look a little more BLING than rebar, think weld on bead lock ring. But rebar is cheaper..... er.... more cost effective :D
