I have a Scout D30 front sitting at my parents house I need to get rid of, in the way of my new Jeep build up :D Was in a S2 I parted out. Needs a new pinion seal at the very least. $65 OBO I need it GONE!

Is it passenger side drop? Do I need to do some work on it? What kind of gears dose it have? How wide is it? Does it come with everything hub to hub? :saw:

Yeah its passenger side drop. It atleast needs a new pinion seal(when the pinion fell down when I was taking it out, it took a dump on the concrete!) I wanna say 3.07 or 3.55s but I'd have to double check. I believe its 62" WMS approx and it should be complete hub to hub less maybe brakelines(not sure if I leff them on) I'd have to check. Other than that I don't know of the condition, I pulled it out of a parts rig and haven't touched it since. Should have tie rod and everything as well

What year is the scout? How many splines does it have? Did the scout have a four cylinder engine in it? :saw:

It was a 1972 if I remember right. I think its 27 spline like the rest of the D30s but i'm not 100% the Scout 2 it came out of had a 345 V8 in it.

Would you be able to send pics? would you be able to measure the axle? How far would you drive to meet some where? call 425-238-2870. :bounce1: :saw:

Are the axles it self are broken? Are the bushings good or needs to be replaced?

Its out at my parents but I can most likely get my brother to snap some pics/ take measurements for me. Far as I know the axle shafts are fine, it was in a Scout 2 I parted out because of a seized engine. And what bushings are you thinking of, a D30 front doesn't have any that I know of :D
Unfortunetly as of the moment I can't really drive it anywhere. I have 2 vehicles, a CJ7 that doesn't run, and an FWD XJ I don't really like to drive much other than around town due to some mechanical issues I have yet to work out.
