Are you looking for the tall or short one? I have the short one I paid $150 for. I also bought an output shaft, but recently noticed it was 2WD! (I have a Buick nailhead TH400 with D20 output)

It will break, buy one from advanced dude, you will need to shorten your main shaft in the tranny too.

The one I have isn't the weakass aluminum Jeep version for D20 (used till '73 behind the nailhead trans) It's the iron one the military used. (which is the reason why I bought it in the first place)

What is the main difference between AA adapter and the "stock" configuration...
Is it mainly a difference between PLATE and CAST?
Thanks for you input by the way...it is appreciated.

The stock Jeep one was aluminum with weak points that make it easy to break (even some AMC 6 cyls have done it!) The aftermarket ones are shorter too.
