For $1000 you can have the trans with all the lines, computer, linkages and even a '93 Jeep with 4.0L HO in it! (trans fluid has even been changed)

Some people make a big deal about the piston slap. My other one did that for 3 years no prob. Ask Avanteone what it sounded like. I'm pretty sure he heard it when they did the filter O ring.
I know I wouldn't be worried about driving it cross country unless I was in a big hurry.

Trans is fine. Just had a fluid change and it shifts solid. I have one I bought from an autowrecker in BC (before I found this board) from a '96 with 60,000 kms on it for $350 but I don't have the linkages. The ones I do have are being used to convert my Comanche to AW4 (I had to buy a 21 spline AW4 to go with the NP242 I'm putting in or the '96 trans would be in there!)
