89 stock rear springs

i just need springs that will push my front end further foward so my tires will clear the firewall, right now its close and i dont like the look of it so im moving to 89 rear packs. there i beleive 10" longer and centerpin is 2" further foward then 85s.

somebody was telling me on toyota spring perches (if that's what your'e running) that there is a hole drilled on one perch that if you drill another hole in the other perch to match that'll push youre front end forward another 1" or so, just a thought, if you haven't already done so. :)

Paul they are not 10" longer. they are 3" longer and only move the axle forward 1.5" more than older packs. See Here (http://www.4x4spot.com/misc__spring_information.htm)

that crossed my mind acouple times. i runnin the front 60 and theres room on those perches. im just looking for more clearence on the firewall
