86 Four Runner

Looking for information on a white 1986 Toyota 4 Runner taken Staurday the 26th from the South Center Mall parking lot. It was taken between 11AM and 2PM from the area around the flag pole outside of Sears. It is white with black flares, tube rear bumper, slotted wheels, Les Schwab 9.50x15 tires with a few studs left in the fronts. It has a factory roll bar AM/FM CD gray interior and is in generally very good condition. Its license number was 533NXH and the vin is JT4RN62D9G0089766.

They use to shoot horse thieves, it must be time to rethink the penaties for car theft. Apprently gently slaping their hands isn't working according to the statistics.

I picked up my daughters 4 runner at Linclon towing in Seattle. It was impounded by SPD in a load and unload zone. It is complete except for a bunch of CDs. The biggest problem is the smell from the smoker that had it. I can take care of that, it is just nice to not be buying a new car for her at Christmas.

glad you got it back, but be warned. parking by sears in South center is not safe. I have heard many stories, one while I was at Sears, about cars getting stolen.
