This crap is getting serious. Because of this relationship of all the stolen Toyotas and mine when stolen I went and bought a police scanner.

In the past two weeks there have been about 7 more stolen Toyotas 80-88 and other later models, out in this general area of SE King County.

Most recent a recovered 86, an Auburn stolen, recovered Sunday morning, another stolen last night, didn't get the details on that, then around 6 this morning an 87 stolen from a residence near Lake Morton (Covington-Black Diamond corridor).

These are all KCSO Precinct 3 reports! I can't keep up with all the other police agencies around here, it's way too much to monitor.

Tom :WTF:

I somewhat feel for you & everyone else who goes through a loss...
but in all honesty... why do you or anyone else build or buy something & put so much into it... work / custom builds... mod's, etc

& then expect in a world we live in now, that everything we'll be alright?

$50.00 car alarms or steering wheel locks etc... non of that crap works...
and your telling me, after buying or dumping work / money into your rig...
your too cheap to pay for some kind of security that does work?

so, wether your seriously effected by a theft... and have to sit back listening to police scanners... or have a friend in the force who gives you feedback on whats up... i need to stress this bit of advice - get this & get it today! :D

then, your life will be somewhat less stressful & your rig won't get jacked!

Wife of owner spotted his rig while on her way to work this morning.
It was recovered one mile from their house where it was stolen from.

'Missing stereo and minor damage'.

King Mud - just a friendly word of advice.

If you're pushing a product, you might do much better with your effort if you do not ridicule people for doing what they can do with what they have. Educate them, don't ridicule or insult them.

hey now, i was in no way putting anyone down. i feel for people who are VICTIMS of tweekers or punk kids ripping off or thrashing someones stuff.
i was mearly stating... the obvious... we put so much into something...

like living in GLASSHOUSES or parking our prized rig out front... but never really investing in some sort of security for it... more of the prayer it doesn't fall victim to theft!

sorry if you took it the wrong way!

theres been many a nights i've stayed up hoping & listening to scanners for info as well... now i know just about every dopehead / dealer gang member whatnot etc... so when something comes up missing near me... everyone knows... if they come across it... to leave it alone & call me... cause the bullet that kills.. they don't want no part of! same with the cops... they are also my friends...

i hate tweekers & thieves... bum's need to get a job & support themselves!

I guess I'm just pretty sensitive about things related to loosing my truck so I can't handle any criticism at the moment. While I may not have had my truck armed with a security system at the time it was stolen, I am not responsible for it being taken.

The low life no good dirty rotten mother __ng son of a bit__ that took it is soley responsible. That said, he should hope that the police find him before I do.

there was a group of guys back in 94 that robbed my grandfather at gunpoint, 84 years old. living with one lung on oxygen. worked hard all his life & did the right things to get there. never turned anyone away who was starving... think of how i felt... until everylast one of them was caught!
nobody should ever have to go through that! now i live everyday of my life, knowing what i've done...

security & insurance is the best route... rather than living with the chance of revenge taking a turn for the worse & you spending the rest of your life in prison. i did some terrible things... and that i live with. but i pray... people
find ways to let it go! & re-inforce the way they think about actions taken when furiously mad & wanting revenge.

i know how you feel, and i also know things can be prevented!
