They're not Genuine Gears are they? If they are, I'll pass. Just heard too many bad things about 'em.

Go ahead and pass then, they have a lifetime warranty and are decent, plus I have set up over 400 of them with 12 broken ones due to owner abuse, Installer setup (ME), or mostly manufacturers defect! and running 42"s in my own rig with a pretty heavy foot.

Genuine gears arent bad to run.If your not in to real heavy rock crawling you wont brake them.Odie does a good job and stands by his work 100% so if they brake concider them fixed(you have to pull the third and bring it to him).
Its a good buy and you will be fine with 488s, the pinion isnt to small.Just my 2 cents do what you want.

I run Genuine 5.29 in the rear and 39.5 Irocs. They been in there for 2 years and still going.
