The Department of Interior Appropriations BIll is being heard on the
House of Representatives floor today with a vote scheduled for this
evening.
Everyone is urged to call their representative to support an
amendment being submitted by Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-CA).
This amendment will restrict the Department of Interior from using
user fees (or camping fees) to pay for environmental monitoring and
studies of endangered species.
